This information appears on your UAC Scholarships Offer Letter. * Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship (ICECS) - $2637 per annum (2017 value). Half of this scholarship is paid in Session One and the other half in Session Two. If you are awarded this scholarship you must notify Centrelink. Indigenous Commonwealth Accomodation Scholarship (ICAS) - $5267 per annum (2017 value). Half of this scholarship is paid in Session One and the other half in Session Two. If you are awarded this scholarship you must notify Centrelink. Indigenous Access Scholarship (IAS) - $4,904 (2016 value) once in a lifetime payment only.

Declaration: Please tick to indicate you have read and understood each statement: * I understand that if I have been offered and IAS it is a once in a lifetime only scholarship and I confirm that I have not received it before. I also understand that half of the scholarship will be paid on enrolment and the remaining half will be paid following confirmation of my continued enrolment after the relevant Census date.
ICECS and ICAS are tenable for 4 years or until I complete my undergraduate program (which may include and Honours year) whichever comes first. The renewal of ICECS and ICAS are subject to maintaining an overall grade point average of 2.0 (pass average) or higher. This will be monitored after each academic session. My payment will be indexed each year. My payment each Session will be deposited into my nominated bank account within four weeks of the relevant census date following confirmation of my full-time program. I must reconfirm my eligibility and banking details before each subsequent payment. The Coursework Scholarships and Prizes Unit will send you a letter regarding this at the beginning of each session. I must advise the Coursework, Scholarships and Prizes Unit if I choose to discontinue my studies or interrupt my scholarship. I must remain in a full-time program (more than 17 credit points in an academic year) or have been granted a waiver to this requirement by the University. I will complete and return a Banking Authority Form available at www.mq.edu.au/scholarships as soon as possible. Equity scholarship payments of $7,826 or below are exempt from Centrelink’s personal and Partner income tests, however, YOU SHOULD STILL REPORT ANY SCHOLARSHIP INCOME to Centrelink, even if it is below $7,826. Full-time Waiver Application: Under the terms of the scholarship, students must be enrolled in a full-time program of more than 17 credit points (per academic year) or more to qualify. If, however, due to disability, ill-health or other circumstances you are unable to study full-time, the University will consider granting a full-time waiver.
